What this site does

No advertising trackers

This site sets no advertising cookies and uses no profiling tools. The only thing it keeps, in your browser's local storage, is the language you have chosen — data strictly necessary for the site to work, which never leaves your device and is never transmitted.

Fonts

The typefaces are served from this site. No request is made to a third-party service to display them, and your IP address is therefore not passed to anyone.

Server logs

Hosting is provided by Infomaniak Network SA, in Geneva, on servers located in Switzerland. The host logs technical accesses — IP address, date, page viewed, browser — for security and operational purposes only. These logs are not linked to any person, are used for no other purpose, and are kept only as long as those purposes require before being deleted.

Audience measurement

This site does not measure its audience: no statistics tool is installed and no visit profile is built. That is also why you are shown no consent banner. Should we one day decide to measure traffic, this page will say so before the tool is put in place.

When you write to us

Forms on RoboSwiss websites send your enquiry to info@robo-swiss.ch using an encrypted connection and Infomaniak authenticated email. The content is kept in our mailbox, without a copy in a website database. To limit abuse and duplicates, technical counters using a hash of the IP address and enquiry expire after 24 hours and are removed when the service is next used; they do not contain the plain-text message. The details you send us — name, company, email, description of your requirement — are processed to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer and, where applicable, perform the contract. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest in replying.

We keep them for the duration of the business relationship and then for the applicable limitation period.

Recipients

Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed on for advertising purposes. It may be shared with our contractually bound technical providers — the website and the email service are hosted by Infomaniak Network SA, in Switzerland — and, with your consent, with Zürcher Kantonalbank when you request a leasing offer.

Disclosure abroad

The site, its technical logs, its typefaces and the info@robo-swiss.ch mailbox are hosted on Infomaniak's Swiss servers: neither the technical data described above, including your IP address, nor the emails you send to Roboswiss leave Switzerland. Zürcher Kantonalbank, the recipient of a leasing request, is a Swiss bank.

Should a provider established outside Switzerland one day take part in this processing, we would disclose data to it only under the conditions of art. 16 FADP — a state whose protection the Federal Council recognises as adequate, or equivalent contractual safeguards — and this page would say so.

Our machines and your data

RoboMat vending machines and RoboWash installations report operating data — stock levels, cycles, takings, technical status — which do not allow any person to be identified.

RoboPos stores combine cameras with weight sensors in the shelves: the cameras track which products are picked up and put back, the weight sensors confirm every item taken, and the shopping trip is reconstructed from those two readings. The system uses neither facial recognition nor biometric data. Processing is carried out in the store and in a secure cloud. No RoboPos store is open to date. The first will open only once the data protection impact assessment required by art. 22 FADP has been carried out, the processor agreements concluded and the notice displayed at the store entrance; this page will then state the image retention period and the location of the servers.

Your rights

You may request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure or the restriction of its processing, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where the European regulation applies, you also have a right to data portability.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to our systems is restricted to the people who need it.
